History
United Financial Credit Union was formed in 1964 to serve a small group of tool and die workers in the Bridgeport area. What started out in the home of one of our founding members, has now grown to include seven locations in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Our field of membership started with those local tool and die shops and has since expanded to be able to offer membership to anyone in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.
Over the years we have grown our services from your basic Savings and Loans to include a full range of savings options; for your personal or business needs; a loan for just about everything and online products to keep you connected on the go.
We pride ourselves on being involved in the communities we serve. Whether it is lending a hand at the schools, sponsoring a community event or helping our members reach their financial goals. We have been here to serve our members for many generations and will continue to serve them for many generations to come.
